MEET ALANA CAPLAN
My passion for real estate started at a young age. I was fascinated when friends and family moved into new houses, always wanting to be first in line for “the tour”. After graduating from York University with a BA in Sociology, I quickly put my degree to use, exploring social behaviour and cultural patterns across the globe. I've lived and worked in New Zealand, South Korea and Nicaragua and in 2013 decided to come home to Toronto to stay. For nearly a decade, I worked in the travel industry, all the while watching and analyzing housing trends. With travel put on pause when the pandemic hit, I was finally able to fulfill my dream of becoming a licensed realtor, and I have not looked back! Now, 2 years later, I've been working diligently to broaden my knowledge and skill set for my clients and even won “Rookie of the Year” award at my brokerage, Slavens & Associates.
A fierce negotiator with a keen understanding of people and the places they call home, I pride myself on my ability to provide industry insights and connect with clients on a personal level.
